South Florida Artist Entrepreneurs Group

The South Florida Artist Entrepreneurs Meetup Group is a new network of local artist entrepreneurs, and alumni of the “Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute” (AEI). This Meetup Group gathers monthly to share tips, problem-solving techniques, get advice on career issues, to discuss mentoring and, look at various successful business models for artists.

What it takes to be a professional artist is more than knowing your craft, you have to know how to run a business. Your materials cost money and, you need to hire assistants, you need a contract, you need to copyright your work and, you need to make a living!
